NEW YORK BLUESTONE
This unique sand stone is found in South Central New York region.It is a strong, stable stone that resists cracking and does not discolor. Our stone is available in a wide assortment of sizes and thicknesses. Blue stone got its name from the deep blue color of the original stone layers quarried. But it is not limited to just a blue color, stone color will range from greens to grays to brown in the full color variety or all bluish gray in the select variety. (Select variety is available in pattern cut only.) It is suitable for patios, walkways and poolside. Pattern cut quarry stone range from 12"x12" up to 24"x36" in size and sold by the square foot depending on thickness of stone selected. Pattern cut quarry stone is accurate with in 1/2" of finish cut sizes. Irregular cut quarry stone is available in either 1" or 1 1/2" thickness range, and sold by the pound or ton. We also sell cut dimensional stone slabs for treads, mantles and hearths with edging finishing options. This is sold by the lineal foot depending on thickness and width of stone selected.
